ipsy: Created by YouTube’s Michelle Phan, ipsy is a curated beauty bag where you get five sample to full size beauty products for $10 a month.

Favorite Bag: This past April’s beauty bag was worth $57.99.

PopSugar Must Have Box: A monthly box with the most on trend items in beauty, fashion, lifestyle, and food. Sample a bit of everything for $39.95 a month.

Favorite Box: The June 2014 box had a hardcover book by Emily Giffin, which is what makes it my favorite thus far.

Julep: A monthly box with a mixture of nail polish and beauty products. Of all the subscriptions, Julep is probably the most customizable. You still take a quiz that informs your style profile but you can always switch to a box you like better on a month to month basis.

Favorite Box: August’s Wanderlust collection was full of vibrant jewel tones that I adored.

Birchbox: A $10 subscription box that gives sample sized products in makeup, hair and skin care. The Birchbox point system is much better than ipsy’s so you can purchase full-sized products in their store and save up for something you really love.

Favorite Box: November’s box introduced me to my favorite BB cream by Dr. Jart.

The nature of referral links is that as an existing member, if you sign up for these services, I get points or a month’s free bag. I just wanted to be forthcoming and honest about that information.

But these are services that I love and use every month independent of any member points. You should be able to sign up for these individually without any referral links if the idea of the referral link itself makes you uncomfortable.
